Vishal Group News — Revealing What I Feel

It feels really devastating when we hear that a company which has selflessly contributed towards the society is now a part of a controversy for being alleged involvement in a food relabelling scam.

Vishal Group, a premier conglomerate based in Nepal was alleged for being involved in a scam where food products like chocolates, chips and biscuits of some of the reputed brands like Snickers, Oreo and Pringles.

I have read many blogs and articles regarding the Vishal Group news on the internet which are supporting Vishal Group and even I feel the same, it is highly unlikely that Vishal Group is involved in the scam.

It’s not just that they are actively involved in various social works but the kind gesture which they have shown during the Covid-19 lockdown. There are a very companies or conglomerates in India who have made so much contribution during the lockdown. Vishal Group has distributed essential items like N95 mask, hand sanitizers and PPE kits to almost all the hospitals in Nepal and even donated a huge sum of money to the government of Nepal to support the public health during crisis.

The vice president of the Group, Mr. Tulsi Ram Agrawal has recently been awarded the prestigious Prabal Jansewa Shree Award by the Government of Nepal for his outstanding contribution towards the economy of the country.

VG Foundation, which is the charitable wing of Vishal Group, has been a part of several charitable activities. The group has also taken several initiatives for women and children in the society.

After all this, it is unbelievable for many that Vishal Group would execute a scam which can potentially put the health of the public at utmost risk.

Vishal Group, from their side has clearly stated that they have no connection with the scam and they were just responsible for the import of those products to Nepal

Even I strongly feel that a conglomerate which has done so much for the betterment for the society would not ever be a part of such a scam which can drastically harm the health of public.

As the investigation is still unfolding new truths, let’s hope the real culprit gets caught and Vishal Group regains its lost reputation.
